Dennis Lloyd Brown, age 64, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, October, 20, 2011 at Christiana Hospital.

Dennis was born in Wilmington on December 8, 1947 to the late Lloyd and Pauline Brown.

He graduated from Claymont High School in 1965. He then worked with his father at Suburban Electric for many years before retiring from General Motors.

Dennis will be dearly missed by his wife, Robin; son, Dennis and his wife Rachel Bentz; daughters, Rebecca Dantine and her husband Wade, and Emily and Rachel Brown; sisters, Judith Ward-Roccia and Terry Burk; brother, Kenny Brown; grandchildren, Cooper and Marley Brown, and Owen Dantine; and Robin's son, Jason Foster and his wife, Jill and their children, Adam and Madison.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his brother, Roland Carroll and the mother of his children, Donna Davies.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 4-7 pm at United Methodist Church of the Atonement, 3519 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. His funeral service will be held the following morning at 11 am at the church. Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. I lieu of flowers, the Brown family suggests contributions be made to the Wilmington YMCA at www.ymcade.org.
