Nicholas Angelucci, age 80, died on September 25, 2008. He was born in Kennett Square, PA where he resided for 68 years; lived in Wilmington, DE before moving to San Diego in 2004. Nick was married to his loving and devoted wife Kathryn Pyle Angelucci for 45 years.
He loved his family as a father of three and grandfather of six. He is survived by his children Anthony J. DAntonio and wife Linda of Decatur, AL, Nicholas Angelucci Jr. and Allison of Oceanside, CA and Gina Angelucci Capaldi and Anthony of Carlsbad, CA.
He was predeceased by his parents Camillo and Mary and brother Domenic (Skeets) Angelucci.
Nick was a lifelong tailor and spent over 68 years working in the town of Kennett.
He was a member of the Church of St. Thomas More, the American Legion, the VFW and North County Italian Assoc.
He was a WWII veteran who served with the 5th Army Air Corps of the Pacific Theatre.
He was an amateur radio operator, loved to dance with his wife, be with his family and always cherished the times he spent with his family and friends in Kennett Square.
This gentle spirit was loved by all who knew him and will be missed more than words can say.
You are invited to visit with the family from 9:30 to 11:30, on Friday morning, October 3, 2008, at the Assumption BVM Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30. Burial will be at St. Patricks Cemetery in Kennett Square.
A contribution in memory of Nicholas Angelucci may be made to the American Legion Post #491, 208 E. State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 or the Scripps Memorial Encinitas Hospital, ICU, 354 Santa Fe Dr., Encinitas, CA 92024.
